Classical guitarist, Mikkel Andersen, was born in 1972 in Denmark and grew up near Copenhagen.
When he was 9 years old he began playing the guitar. Upon finishing high school, he continued and finished his musical studies at various Danish music conservatories and the Royal College of Music in London. Since then, Mike has traveled the world as a chamber musician and classical soloist, and has given concerts in Sweden, Norway, Germany, Austria, Italy, Poland, the Baltic countries, Russia, the United Kingdom, Canada, the United States and the Faroe Islands.
Beyond his role as a soloist, Mikkel Andersen also plays in various ensembles.
He has contributed to a series of recordings in Denmark and abroad.
In addition, Mikkel teaches privately and is affiliated with the Køge Music School and the Danish music conservatory preparatory program, ”MGK.”
